Main Points on Hand-Rearing Technology of Captive Felids in Xining Wildlife Garden

Some problems about maternal neglect to newborns or no mother cat left for kittens were happened during the condition of bearing or rescue in Xining Wildlife Garden,including snow leopard( Uncia Uncia),desert cat( Felis bieti),and lynx( Lynx lynx) etc. In these cases,hand- rearing technology is very important to guarantee the survival and healthy growth of the kittens. This paper sets forth the main points on hand-rearing technology of captive felids from the rearing surrounding,rearing management,disease prevention and treatment,and behavior development.
