ResumoA new species of Enantiornithine bird from the lower Cretaceous Jiufotang Formation of Chaoyang,Liaoning Province is reported. The new taxon,Camptodontus yangi gen. et sp. nov.,possess several synapomorphies as well as Y-shaped furcula,a wider coracoid with concave end; elongate strunum parapophysis with an enlarged distal end. Moreover,it possesses the following specific skull structures other than many Enantiornithes:a long, thick and strong jaws; greatly caudally curved teeth; and a big lower frontal bone,etc.. Therefore,a new species is built. Its disco-very not only provides new data on the diversity of Enantiornithes, but also indicates the complicated radiation of early birds. As the new species has several characteristics that similar to Longiptery,it belongs to Longipterygidae.
