The syndrome differentiation system,which is six channels differentiation system and developed in Shanghan Lun,is of vast controversy through history.In this article,the author explained the classic formulas and the theory of six channels.They first recognized the Yang syndrome,that is biao yang-Taiyang,and li yang-Yangming,then ban biao ban li syndrome—Shaoyang,so the orders of the three yang syndromes are: Taiyang,Yangming and Shaoyang.And they ordered the three Yin syndromes by the same cognotive way,that is Taiyin,Shaoyin and Jueyin.The orders of the Three yang and Three yin syndromes in the Shanhan Lun is not a simple editorial problem,and is not related with meridians,actually,it is an indication of the essence and developmental history of classic formula.
