ResumoIn order to meet the needs of user surfing the Internet,a embedded wireless router is designed and implemented to support 3G access sharing. This router combines four fuctions such as modem, router, access point and USB storage in one and supports three kinds of 3G standards including CDMA2000,WCDMA,TD-SCDMA.Moreover it realizes offline download function. It uses the Ralink RT5350 chip as its hardware platform and applies embedded Linux operating system as deployment platform for a variety of application. The functions of 3G Internet and offline download are realized through analysis of the kernel driver principle and by use of application software in Linux system. The test results show that this system is characterized by fast speed, small size, easy to carry.Promising application perspective can be expected.
