Of these 55 cases stone fragments passed spontaneously in 35 (63.6%) and were treated successfully (no residual stone fragment in ureter) with repeat ESWL in 18 (32.8%). Only 2 patients (3.6%) required ureteroscopic management or open ureterolithotomy. Therefore, repeat ESWL is considered a good initial method to treat complicated steinstrasse. © 1991 by The American Urological Association Education and Research, Inc.FiguresReferencesRelatedDetails Volume 145Issue 3March 1991Page: 489-491 Advertisement Copyright & Permissions© 1991 by The American Urological Association Education and Research, Inc.Keywordskidney calculiureteral calculilithotripsyMetricsAuthor Information Sae Chul Kim More articles by this author Chung Hwan Oh More articles by this author Young Tae Moon More articles by this author Kyung Do Kim More articles by this author Expand All Advertisement PDF downloadLoading ...
