Effects of β-glucosidase on the bone growth and antioxidation in broiler chicks.

ResumoA total of 240 one-day-old Avine male broiler chicks were randomly allocated to 4 treatments(four replicate cages of fifteen chicks per cage).The broilers were fed on maize-soybean basal diets supplemented with 0,2.0,4.0 and 6.0 g/kg β-glucosidase additive for the duration of 42 days.The results were showed that broiler chicks treated with 2.0 g/kg β-glucosidase additive got the best growth performance,but there were no difference in the growth of thighbone and tibia and the concentration of Ca,P and ALP in serum.The activities of the SOD in serum and GSH-PX and GR in liver are improved(P0.05),the MDA concentration of serum was decreased(P0.05) significantly.The a* value of breast muscle increased(P0.001) and the L* value decreased(P0.001) significantly.
