Resumo

The IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force) has standardized a new network configuration and management protocol called NETCONF to manage efficiently various networks with the complex structure and to configure easily the heterogeneous network devices. However, the NECONF has several kinds of problems in its completion and practical usage. Therefore, the earlier studies has brought a focus on the performance improvement of the NETCONF and has continued its effort to increase the practical usage of the NETCONF. In this paper, we has studied additional three functions to improve the performance of the NETCONF standard and to increase the practical usage of the NETCONF. First, we improve the communication mechanism of the NETCONF that changes the single pipeline to multiple pipeline based on the RPC to decrease the bottleneck effect. Second, we improve the inefficiency of the command for network device configuration in NETCONF operation layer into using some techniques. Finally, we propose a scheme that can utilize for the configuration management of NETCONF at the network circuit auto recovery. As a result, when the multiple pipeline is applied, it has been proved that the proposed method is better than existing NETCONF communication method. Also we could implement the NECONF that the performance of the operation layer is improved. Moreover, we proposed how to apply the NETCONF to the network circuit auto recovery.
