ResumoHypertrophic pulmonary osteoarthropathy (HPOA) occurred in association with experimentally induced squamous cell lung carcinoma in a new canine model that resembles human bronchogenic carcinogenesis. This canine lung cancer model can potentially prove useful in clarifying the etiologic enigma of HPOA.
