Resumo

Recently a Letter to the Editor from Dr. Daniel J. Den is 1 alerted us to 2 errors in our paper.1.In the Methods section of the Abstract, we originally stated:Of the 170 patients who had been originally assigned to coiling, 64 (38%) crossed over to clipping, whereas 4 (2%) of 179 patients assigned to surgery crossed over to clipping. The last word of this sentence should have been "coiling," and thus the corrected sentence is Of the 170 patients who had been originally assigned to coiling, 64 (38%) crossed over to clipping, whereas 4 (2%) of 179 patients assigned to surgery crossed over to coiling. In the legend toTable 2, we initially stated:* Coil-coil compared to coil-clip at 3 years: p = 0.007.Coil-clip compared to clip-clip at 3 years: p = 0.26.Coil-coil compared to clip-clip at 3 years: p = 0.0.
