ResumoHow good to read in your Diary column that Nurse Managers are at last listening to nurses. I refer to the Hartlepool decision to restore the use of nurses' caps. We younger nurses not only want a challenging i research-based profession respected by our colleagues, but we also want to keep the traditional aspects of nursing. To most of us that tradition is found not only in providing the highest standards of care but also in the appearance of uniforms.
