Resumo

The synthesis of [2,6-DMPy-NO 2 ]C(NO 2 ) 3 as a novel NMS and its application in the synthesis of 2-sbstituted benz-(imida, oxa and othia)-zoles via a new mechanistic approach was supported by theoretical studies.
