ResumoMorbidity associated with burns about the face and neck relates to the important organs and structures of the area, the eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and the specialized skin of the face and neck. The effect of a thermal injury on each of these structures is considered. The problem of the frequently associated pulmonary thermal injury is also discussed.
