Clostridium difficile and Clostridium perfringens research

Whatever the potential biliary excretion of an antibiotic, whenever there is obstruction, therapeutic levels cannot be achieved in the bile. Serum concentrations of a suitable antimicrobial are required to prevent and control the systemic manifestations of biliary sepsis.
