Biopsies of both descended testes revealed a normal histological pattern with active spermatogenesis. After the testicular torsion was corrected, one of the supernumerary testes was placed in the contralateral empty hemiscrotum and the undescended atrophic testis was removed. The aesthetic and functional results were excellent. © 1987 by The American Urological Association Education and Research, Inc.FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited byWITTE M, KIM E and LIPSHULTZ L (2018) TORSION IN A TRIORCHID TESTISJournal of Urology, VOL. 159, NO. 5, (1694-1694), Online publication date: 1-May-1998.Thum G (2018) Polyorchidism: Case Report and Review of LiteratureJournal of Urology, VOL. 145, NO. 2, (370-372), Online publication date: 1-Feb-1991.
