Resumo

Multidisciplinary approaches are vital in the treatment of these malignant tumors. Accurate diagnosis and staging must precede any attempt at therapy. Improved pediatric surgical techniques, supervoltage radiotherapy, and the availability of effective chemotherapeutic agents have all contributed to better results.
