ResumoEUS-guided biliary drainage (EUS-BD) has become an alternative procedure to percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage (PTBD) in failed ERCP. Recently, the efficacy and high rate of adverse events of EUS-BD have been reported.1-5 We describe the actual use of EUS-BD in our hospital, one of the largest referral centers of ERCP and interventional EUS in Japan.
