ResumoNeutral substances in plants of the Genus Corydalis (C. pallida var. tenuis YATABE, C. incisa PERS., and C. platycarpa MAKINO) were examined and two kinds of aliphatic alcohol, compd. A, mp 82.5-83°, and compd. B, mp 89-89.5°, were isolated as common components. Compd. A was found to be identical with nonacosan-10-ol, C19H39CH(OH)C9H19, from its mass spectrum and some degradation reactions of its ketoxime. Compd. B was identified with hentriacontan-1-ol, C31H63OH, from its infrared spectrum and mass spectrum of its trimethylsilyl ether.
