ResumoKey Points The baseline characteristics of multirefractory ITP differed from “typical” ITP, outcome was severe, and was associated with high morbidity and mortality. Combining immunosuppressant therapy with a thrombopoietin-receptor agonist may be a relevant option for these patients.
