Linguistic Studies and Language Acquisition

This is a comparative analysis of the discourse in Angel Mix (July/ 1997) and Xuxa Park (October/1997) TV programs for children, emphasizing linguistic aspects, interaction, entertainment, and underlying ideology. It followed NURC/SP for transcription and the theoretical support of Gutierrez (1978), Teixeira (1985), Moran (1989, 1991), Rezende and Rezende, (1993).
