EnglishThese are the results of the preventive archaeological intervention which has been affected on the XVI century Chapel devoted to the Holy Spirit, in the parish of Sao Joao das Lampas in the Municipality of Sintra. These works took place within the scope of the recovery and restoration works carried out by the Factory of the Curch of Sao Joao das Lampas. The objective is to also englobe the construction of this place of worship within the context framework of the regional XVI century history of Sintra. portuguesApresentam-se os resultados da intervencao arqueologica preventiva realizada na Ermida quinhentista dedicada ao Divino Espirito Santo, edificada na freguesia de Sao Joao das Lampas, no Concelho de Sintra. Tais trabalhos decorreram no âmbito das obras de recuperacao e restauro do imovel levadas a cabo pela Fabrica da Igreja de Sao Joao das Lampas. Pretende-se, ainda, enquadrar a edificacao deste templo no contexto seiscentista da historia regional sintrense.
