This paper is a presentation of the Paleo-Christian inscription of Palhinha 1, characterized by its antiquity in the context of the south of the present-day Portuguese territory, and seeks its understanding, using the material and oral survey data of the respective site, while also examining some unpublished sites which are located in its vicinity.
