A Review of Star Wars: Episode VII—The Force Awakens (2015) by J. J. Abrams (Director) “Use the Force,” one of the most popular phrases derived from the Star Wars canon, is aligned with many constructs studied in psychology, such as finding flow, the elicitation of trust, and tapping into mindfulness. We add that there is an important dimension of internal strength—more specifically, character strengths—reflected in this phrase.
