There has been a continuous interest in enhancing services and enabling success to SMEs and recently due to the suffering of the Egyptian economy after the 25th revolution it has become a must to support such SMEs projects. One challenging issue is how to enhance the competitive advantages of SME via different alternatives of search engine optimization. This paper presents a case study which highlights the current status and problems facing SMEs after the recent revolution. In this paper we present a prototype model adopting number of aspects of search engine optimization to enhance the hosting websites for SMEs as it's always a challenge how to promote and market their products. The implemented prototype provide a unified interface to display SMEs information and product catalogue, and it also facilitate navigation between these companies web sites by using URLs that can be stored in SMEs Database. The implemented prototype has proven successful use of Search Engine Optimization techniques to improve the SMEs web-based network ranking in search engine results. It also verified a cost effective marketing technique for the target SMES and its success were also proven via a number of reports and statistics about the web site traffic. These results can be further analyzed to enable selection and updating the keywords and the ranking factors.
