ResumoThe third-instar larva and pupa of Demodema brevitarsis (Blanchard) from Tapejara, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, are described. This is the first description of immature stages in this genus. A key to the larvae of seven genera of New World Macrodactylini (sensu lato), is given.
