ResumoThis investigation aimed to comprehend and evaluate the continuous education for teachers and monitors related to PEDAGOGIA DA ALTERNANCIA and how this education contributes to the professional practice. We interviewed three teachers assigned by SEED and three monitors with graduation level, assigned by ARCAFAR/SUL. In order to collect data, we used a questionnaire with open and closed questions. Evaluation regarding continuous education for teachers and monitors included questions regarding: Courses about PEDAGOGIA DA ALTERNÂNCIA taken by these professionals? How these courses changed their everyday practice? How they understand the PEDAGOGIA DA ALTERNÂNCIA? The bibliographic research worked and base for the reflections, including the theory by authors like Borges 2012; Caldart, 2013; Ribeiro, 2013 and Manacorda 2007. In summary, we found teachers and monitors graduation courses did not include teaching about PEDAGOGIA DA ALTERNÂNCIA, the continuous education offered to teachers and monitors is not enough, is not satisfactory or do not exist.
