Resumo

I present briefly notes about social inclusion of transvestites and transsexuals to use the social name and the rectification of civil registration, or change of first name. In order to do that, I based my discourse on legal and bibliographical documentation, as well as interviews with the lawyer Karen Schwach (responsible for part of the approved change of civil registration of transvestites and transsexuals in Sao Paulo).
