Resumo

Is the maker of the “American Ale” truly the “Genuine Article,” or has the “King of Beers” lost its crown as the all-American beverage? Did the all-American dream came to an end on July 13, 2008, when Anheuser-Busch and the Belgian brewing company InBev agreed to a deal for InBev (a brewing giant that owns 50% of Grupo Modelo and 27% of Tsingtao, China's leading beer producer) to purchase the American company at $70 per share, creating what is now known as Anheuser-Busch InBev? Are we slowly witnessing, through this and other mergers, the beginning of the end of the all-American beer?
