This volume, another well produced contribution to the IGLS series (and the first of a ‘new crop’ of tomes on the Syrian Hauran region), covers both the city of Bostra and the villages in the Nuqrah plain, the lowland between Bostra, Suweida (Dionysias), Der‘a (Adra‘a) and Sheikh Meskine plus the area to the south of Bostra.
