ResumoespanolEn este trabajo se analiza la censura inquisitorial en relacion con los pliegos religiosos en verso que se imprimieron en espanol durante el siglo XVI y, mas en concreto, su presencia en los Indices inquisitoriales de Valdes y de Quiroga. Entre las composiciones censuradas y prohibidas se encuentran el y Codicilo de dos obritas que por su interes comentaremos por extenso. Asimismo, se reflexiona sobre el peligro que suponian es tos pliegos, dada su enorme capacidad de difusion, y la necesidad de controlar su transmision y sus contenidos religiosos EnglishThis article analyzes inquisitorial censorship in relation to religious poetic chapbooks that were published in Spanish during the sixteenth century. More specifically, the author studies poetic chapbooks included in the inquisitorial lists of Valdes and Quiroga. Among the works censored and banned in these lists, we can find Testamento y Codicilo de Christo, two poems that we are extensively analyzed in this article. The author reflects on the danger that these chapbooks represented due to their great potential circulation and how the authorities needed to control their transmission and religious content
