O texto mostra a construção do conceito de fóton no início do século XX, ou seja, da natureza corpuscular da luz, a partir da lei de Planck, em 1900, para o espectro de radiação do corpo negro, e do método de quantização da luz por Einstein, em 1905. Palavras chave: fóton; luz; física moderna; Planck; Einstein. Abstract: The paper discuss the construction of the concept of photon at the beginning of the 20th century. In other words, how the corpuscular nature of light has grown, from Planck's law for the black-body radiation, in 1900, and from Einstein's quantization of light, in 1905.
