Saab presented its first convertible 20 years ago at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Saab convertibles have always been genuine four-seaters with powerful turbocharged engines and a unique Scandinavian design. Over the years, the Saab 900 and the 9-3 proved that a convertible could truly be a practical, all-weather, all-season vehicle and not just a second car for when the sun comes out. The new Saab 9-3 convertible takes this tradition one step further. The fully automatic soft top, with its unique tonneau cover movement, the powerful 129 kW or 154 kW turbocharged engines and the sporty handling make the new 9-3 much more than a convertible.
