The innovative roof concept of the new Porsche 911 Targa combines a big sliding glass roof with a tiltable rear glass window which serves the purpose of a rear lid — a novelty in 911 series vehicles. With this configuration, the new 911 Targa uniquely couples the advantages of draught-free open-top driving with the comfort and safety offered by a coupé with a rear lid.
