Real-time simulation and control systems

For more than ten years, ZF Friedrichshafen AG has been using tools for Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) in developing software for electronic control systems. Toolsupported software engineering was first used in pre-development projects. Meanwhile, this technology is also being employed in production projects. On the basis of such applications, ZF has gained interesting findings regarding the efficiency of development tools.
