EnglishIn this paper we pretend to give some ways to build a comprehensive history of cultural relations between Brazil and Portugal, from the post-independence to heyday of this with Double Centenary Foundation and Restoration and the Cultural Agreement of 1941 and its aftermath. For this, at first we will explore the idea of Luso-Brazilian imagined community, from its beginnings to the Vargas era. Then demonstrate how the training the idea of a Luso-Brazilian community gains much more strength in the common term of both New States, taking its peek to commemorate the centenary of the Foundation and Double Portugal Restoration in 1940 and the signing of the Agreement cultural 1941 and the ramifications of editorial policy formed from these, in particular the founding of the revista Atlântico and revista Brasilia in 1942. portuguesNeste texto pretendemos dar alguns caminhos para a construcao de uma historia global das relacoes culturais entre Brasil e Portugal, desde o pos-independencia ate o auge desta com o Duplo Centenario da Fundacao e Restauracao e o Acordo Cultural de 1941 e seus desdobramentos . Para isto, em um primeiro momento iremos explorar a ideia de comunidade imaginaria luso-brasileira, desde os seus primordios ate a era Vargas. Em seguida, demonstraremos como a formacao a ideia de uma comunidade luso-brasileira ganha muita mais forca no periodo de vigencia comum de ambos Estados Novos, tendo seu auge nas comemoracoes do Duplo Centenario da Fundacao e Restauracao de Portugal em 1940, na assinatura do Acordo Cultural de 1941 e nos desdobramentos da politica editorial formada a partir destes: a fundacao da revista Atlântico e da revista Brasilia em 1942.
