Resumo

RESUMO . Este artigo analisa a linguagem da personagem Chayene, a cantora piauiense tecnobrega de Cheias de Charme (TV Globo, 2012), atraves da visao antropologica e identitaria de Viana (2013) e da teoria linguistica semiotica de Greimas (2008). O intuito e demonstrar como a linguagem hibrida dessa antagonista contrapoe a visao sociocultural com que o brasileiro concebe o estado do Piaui (representando o Nordeste do Brasil) em oposicao a do Rio de Janeiro, representando o Sudeste e o resto do Brasil. This article analyzes the language of Chayene character, the singer Piaui Tecnobrega Full of Charm (TV Globo, 2012), through an anthropological view of Viana (2013) and the linguistic theory semiotics of Greimas. The aim is to demonstrate how the hybrid language of this antagonist countered the sociocultural vision that the Brazilian conceives of Piaui state (representing the Northeast of Brazil) as opposed to the Rio de Janeiro, representing the Southeast and the rest of Brazil.
