Resumo

Recent studies concerning analysis of the management of administration of the sport organizations are carried out in the country about sports in the country with international success, such as Judo and Volleyball.The objective of this study is to describe and analyze the management of Brazilian Confederation of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics.Case study was conducted through survey and analysis of the actions and measures undertaken, according to the model SPLISS (Sports Policy factors Leading to International Sporting Success) ; profile managers and characterization of management.The data were obtained from annual reports of CBGEG and through structured interviews with managers.The analysis demonstrated that the entity is recent (founded in 2008), has characteristics of amateur management, does not perform long-term planning, and managers have experience and training focused in practice.As for activities and actions carried up highlights the training of technicians and competitions, while the main downside is the lack of planning, resulting in isolated and specific activities.It was concluded that the management of the Federation has difficulty maintaining sufficient financial support, which would be crucial for the development of plans for development in the medium and long term.
