Resumo

Dust is considered to be the main source of damage for human health, in particular, fine particles. The industrial zones located in proximity to densely populated cities and inhabited territories pose a special hazard. The physicochemical properties of dust directly influencing the dust particles size distribution are considered. The paper analyzes the dusts which are most often emitted from construction enterprises at the present moment. An experiment was carried out, an installation and a method for data processing were described. The integral curves of the mass of dust particles emitted from products manufacturing were built according to diameters in the probabilistic logarithmic grid, as well as the curves of the dependences of settling velocities on the equivalent diameter of particles in semi-logarithmic and logarithmic grids. The time was determined at which the most of dust particles from production waste settle down, when counted according to number and mass.
