Abstract: This article overviews some cultural and religious traditions of the people of Russian Federation and traces their history and their impact on modern society. The social class of Cossacks that formed the basis of the population of South Urals is briefly described in the historical retrospective.Keywords:tradition, holidays, Cossacks, South Urals.Resumo: Este artigo revê algumas tradições culturais e religiosas do povo da Federação Russa e traça a sua história e seu impacto na sociedade moderna.
