ResumoThe aesthetic experience, a manifoldly manifest living experience of the Beautiful, supposes contemplation, esteem and proper evaluation. We will evaluate the sensible aspects of the beautiful through intelligible criteria, whose ultimate paradigm is the Unity that, by its identification with the Perfect Unity (Trinity), is not predicable or definable.Using the metaphor of the unfinished song, we will understand that the melody is anticipated in each played note.Nevertheless, we will only understand the meaning of melody when, after its full execution, it is retended in memory. If in the living experience of the musically beautiful, which surpasses the simple sound, we listen to meanings, we can consequently affirm that the aesthetic experience moves us away from sensible reality and towards the Highest Beauty. The aesthetic experience is therefore the relational movement of transcendence through which, in loving the Highest Beauty, we care for and promote creation, the true manifestation of its Author.
