ResumoThis article presents a reflection on the novel genre police mistery within the Collection Menina e Moca published by Jose Olympio Bookstore. The reserche was based on the theories of the crime genre classics of authors like Sandra Lucia Reimao, Tzevetan Todorov, Medeiros e Albuquerque among others. To arrive at the conclusion that the novels of Sir Jerry series belong to the detective genre, the research was supported on the study of narrative own schemes of plot mistery police consecrated by Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle. Thus, it was verified that the novels of Mad. H. Giraud, creative character Sir Jerry, is appropriated from de same compositional strategies of crime novels of mistery-honored publishing.
