First, the domain under consideration is weakened by a Volterra-type screw dislocation. The stress and electric displacement fields in the circular region are obtained with aid of the finite Fourier transform. Based on the solution achieved for the dislocation, the distributed dislocation technique was employed to analyze any geometry of multiple cracks. The problem was first reduced to a set of singular integral equations with a Cauchy type singularity. By calculating unknown dislocation densities, the stress and electric stress intensity factors were obtained which are displayed graphically.
