ResumoBuilding customer relationships is of critical strategic importance to companies in achieving success in the marketplace. In an increasingly competitive world a system is needed that helps to contact and handle the relationship between companies and clients. Therefore, adopting a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool may signify a competitive advantage over the competition. Given that CRM tools are very costly for small companies, in this paper we only present CRM tools that are free of acquisition costs and viable for small companies. We analyze and compare the main characteristics of the following four open source CRM tools: SugarCRM, VTiger, Open CRX and Odoo.
