ResumoSince the Republic to the fall of the Western Empire, a vast human diversity was reunited under the power of Rome. Although those people possessed concerning legal and political autonomy at the local level, it was just from the first century A.D. that there was a gradual increase in the activities of the provincial in the imperial policy. This change in attitude was conducted under the autocratic tutelage of the Caesars according to their interests and in favor of their image as good rulers. Thus, this article aims to discuss aspects of the exaltation of the imperial policy of Trajan as seen in the Panegyric of Trajan written by Pliny the Younger, a member of a political circle that gives support to Caesar. In this work, around the moral and political idea of virtus and the stoicism, Pliny depicts Trajan's image as a promoter of integration and the greatness of the orbis romanus.
