ResumoOn October 6. 2000, an earthquake with the magnitude of 7.3 hit the western part of Tottori prefecture. Although the earthquake was bigger than Hyougo-ken Nanbu earthquake in 1995, fatality numbered zero and completely destroyed houses was no more than 360.
