Resumo Este artigo trata da colossal Biblioteca Historica, do historiador siciliano Diodoro Siculo (c. 30-90 a.C.). O principal objetivo e analisar o julgamento de Diodoro a respeito da adocao de costumes persas por Alexandre Magno (356-323 a.C.), tentando estabelecer algumas das formas de alteridade empregadas por Diodoro. Abstract This article deals with the colossal Library of History, by the sicilian historian Diodorus Siculus (c. 30-90 B.C.). The main objective is to analyze the judgment of Diodorus about the adoption of persian customs by Alexander the Great (356-323 B.C.), trying to establish some of the forms of otherness used by Diodorus.
