Reutilización de material literario en las comedias de Calderón: un análisis desde sus piezas más tempranas

This article identifies different recurring elements (often) used by Calderón in his plays. Sometimes they can be a motif like the runaway horse; one or two lines or even a whole strophe as we can see in the case of the décima, which is shared by Amor, honor y poder and El príncipe constante; or a scene like the hidden king who spies on his beloved. Thus, it is important to be aware of this tendency in Calderón in order to deal with a critical edition and, at the same time, it is a useful resource for recognising and verifying the authorship of a play of doubtful attribution.
