
ARTE E REPRESENTAÇÃO DO FEMININO: DA ANTIGUIDADE À PÓS-MODERNIDADE

ResumoA partir do estudo das semelhancas entre tres obras de arte bem como de suas diferencas – a escultura Afrodite de Cnidos , de Praxiteles de Atenas (seculo 4 a. C.), a pintura Nascimento de Venus , de Sandro Botticelli (1489) e o video Barbed Hula , da artista israelense Sigalit Landau (2010) – o texto analisa as transformacoes na representacao do feminino, concluindo pelo questionamento, na pos-modernidade, dos estereotipos que, na historia da arte ocidental, direcionaram o imaginario social.
