Liquens foliosos e fruticosos corticícolas do Jardim Botânico de Porto Alegre, RS, Brasil

ResumoThis paper presents the results of a survey on foliose and fruticose lichens with a corticolous habitat found on trees in the trails of the Botanical Garden in Porto Alegre, state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Material was collected over 16 fi eld collection, between October 2008 and May 2009. A total of 59 species were identifi ed, distributed in eight families and 17 genera, where 48 of these species were foliose lichens and 11 fruticose lichens. Three families were highly representative, Parmeliaceae corresponding to 49.2% of total species number, followed by Physciaceae (25.4%) and Ramalinaceae (10.2%). The genus Parmotrema had the highest number of species.
