X-ray Spectroscopy and Fluorescence Analysis

The inelastic scattering of 60.2 MeV electrons from 56Fe is investigated, and angular distributions are measured for seven 2+ states and one 3− state. The results are compared to DWBA predictions to extract values of the electromagnetic reduced transition rates and the transition radii.
