Resumo• Was evaluate the expression the IL-12 in the intestinal mucosa of mice inoculated with T. canis larvae, and supplemented or not with S. boulardii . • S. boulardii was unable to prevent or reduce the infection caused by inoculation with T. canis larvae. • Toxocara canis infection causes suppression of IL-12 in the intestinal mucosa even with S. boulardii treatment.
